Link about tests for B12 deficiency. Self treating with B12 before you have a test for B12 deficiency may affect the results and could make it more difficult to get a diagnosis. I chose to self treat after trying for years to get treatment from NHS but this has made it virtually impossible to get a formal diagnosis due to having high levels of B12 in my blood.
If I were you , I would get some methylcobalamin active vitamin b12 and start taking it . I would get some blackstrap molasses which contains iron , b6 and other nutrients and minerals and also has something in it called trimethylglycine , which binds to homocysteine and gets it out your body . I would get some beet root juice with a high beetroot content in ( if possible , make your own ) Beetroot also contains trimethylglycine but also contains cobalt . Omega 3 would be a good idea and Co Q10 which is a harmless enzyme which is helpful at helping the gut to absorb vits and gives you energy . Give this a try for a week or two and get back to me on it
