Don't think there is a normal with B12 - everyone reacts differently. Certainly isn't uncommon to find that they run out of b12 quite quickly in terms of return of symptoms.

Not clear what regime is being used to treat you - presume you are having loading shots - protocols vary depending on what type of b12 is being used and where you are.

Most B12 is lost in the first 48 hours, which is why there is a period of loading shots - in UK would be every other day - how long depends on what your symptoms are - and then on to maintenance shots.

Had loading shots in December and just had first of 8 weekly shots but did not think I would feel as bad as I did from loading shots. Hoping to improve in next couple of days

Hope that you start to feel better soon. It can take a while - and sometimes you end up feeling worse before you feel better.

Lots of people find the aches and pains get worse - I had problems for years and found that I experienced pains I hadn't had for years - like running a tape backwards. Also, a lot of the things that we associate with being ill - like runny noses and rashes are actually the body doing its business properly in fighting infections so those can seem to get worse - as the body is fighting infections that are there properly before it gets to the point where it can go back to keeping the infections out.

Feeling worse is common, the nerves are starting to repair and wake up which is why you feel tingly, it's a good sign!
