Has anyone had low Albumin blood tests results when B12 deficient?
I had some blood tests done as I've got a lot of symptoms of B12 deficiency, my B12 was low and so was my Albumin.
Has anyone had low Albumin blood tests results when B12 deficient?
I had some blood tests done as I've got a lot of symptoms of B12 deficiency, my B12 was low and so was my Albumin.
I have but only realised that was the case recently when I asked for prints of my 6 months of blood tests. I've a lot of work to do looking into my results but an initial look suggests I have low protein in my blood. I find this interesting as I'm dairy and soy intolerant which is caused by the proteins rather than the sugar.
I have problems with dairy too. it affects my Crohn's. What is your low albumin level?
Albumin is the main protein in blood. So low albumin will always mean low protein. It is synthesized in the liver from the amino acids from the proteins eaten in food. It don't matter what type of protein, so there would be no connection with casein and soy proteins.
I was guessing that something like that was the case. I was just wondering if there was some correlation, as some of my other blood results are low and if I remember correctly, at least one other had something to do with protein. I've still to look into it, but this is a busy time so the research is being pushed to the side for the time being.
Hi, I have PA and my albumin level is low.
Manda, did you have fatigue having those results?
I suffer from severe fatigue. I have no idea if albumins are correlated with B12. I am going to start B12 injections.
