My husband has pain in his lower legs. The B12 seems to help but he is having alternate day injections and has had for about 9 months. When we try to leave the injections for 3 days the pain is worse. So we will carry on as we are for now! Don't know when we will be able to reduce them.

His legs don't give way but at times he looks like he can hardly walk and the muscles on his lower legs are quite wasted.

Hi

I have had exactly the same.I was diagnosed with pa.I had 6 loading injections but my GP will only allow me injections every 12wks.My reading was120 .I top up with the oral spray at 8wks and it helps. My legs use to give way but still do towards he end of 8 weeks. My tinitus has gone.

Good luck in whatever you may do.I think I will be self injecting soon xx

Not quite the legs but I do find that my ankles get week and give way when my B12 levels start to get low. Taking a bit of B12 ... by that I mean about 0.5mg (nasal spray) tends to resolve it.

I also inject occasionally but generally I get through about 3-5mg of B12 a day, so it may be that you just aren't getting the levels of B12 that you need at the moment.

Hi, when you say 3-5mg a day, how do you take that?

Mainly nasal spray - have various - one for Hydroxo - which I use the most and one for methyl - I also self inject if I know I am going to have a busy or stressful day
