I have recently moved to Germany where I expect to be for the next 3-6 months. Does anyone know about guidelines or treatment levels here. I have had one injection from a G.P because I took a letter from my English G.P saying I had P.A and was on injections.
thanks
p.s my German is virtually none existent so it is difficult for me to find out here

You can just get B12 from a pharmacy - possible that they may have been trained to provide the injections but not sure about that. Most of the B12 used in surgery's comes from the US - looked through the instructions that come with mine and it mentions maintenance shots once a month so would imagine that is the norm there.
Suggest you try going into a pharmacy and start by explaining that you don't have much German and would like to speak to someone who does speak English about B12 - write it down as B12 is the same written.
You will not have any problems in getting B12 injections (like we do here). You can buy ampulles without any trouble also. You will always be able to find a doctor to speak English quite well, and often also in their Chemists. (APOTHEKE) The chemists there are really pharmacies. They don't sell make-up etc.
Hi, thanks a lot for that. Have found an English speaking doctor . Im hoping he will be willing to give more regularly than current 12weekly which is a killer for the last 5weeks.
