Blown Vein and no anaemia....

Just thought I'd pop this up here for illnesswhatillness as I couldn't put it in the other thread.

Doctor had never blown a vein before, I'd never blown a vein before. It happened when I was having the test for b12 done but nobody actually read the result....

I had further bloods taken when I also got bruising but this was the humdinger.

I was going on about getting my iron checked because my mother had suffered severe iron deficiency anaemia - they kept saying I didn't have anaemia.

You might like to note here that I'm not a pure bred Brit - my normal skin colour is somewhat tan.
