I couldn't tell you that. Depends on what other medications and supplements you are taking. You always should check with your Primary or neurologist! They would have to prescribe it any way. Another good source is your pharmacist! But you would still have to have a prescription from your doctor!

Hi Carolann, I take the generic Lexapro, (starts with an E, hard to pronounce.) I take 20 mg of it b4 going to bed. It's never caused me any problem. Hope this helps.

I am using Wellbutrin 300 as well as Azilect.

Both Lexpro and Wellbutrin are contraindicated with Azilect, but if you are not having problems it would be between you and your doctors.

My neurologist at U of BC in Vancouver told me that if you take any anti depressant you cannot take Azilect because of interaction of 2 meds. If you wish to take Azilect then perhaps you could slowly cut back on anti D. If you discuss this with your neuro, I am sure he/she will confirm.
