Chronic Pancreatitis

Hi All

I have been having issues with digestion for the last couple of months and went to my Gastro dr and she told me my pancreas is not working properly and that this is possible CP.

I am almost sure it is with all the symptoms and pain I have been suffering for the last years. I had not idea of this disease and now all makes sense.

Hope I will cope with this pain.

Have your doctor do a stool sample test -pancreatic elastase, fecal test to test for E.P.I. So many have had it for years and don't know they have it. E.P.I. is exocrine pancreatic insufficiency where your enzymes are working to digest your food. It's a simple test.

Thanks Roxie she did run some exams and I am waiting for the final results.

Actually she already prescribed me CREON and I am taking 10000 UI per meal. I am anxiously waiting for the results and hope for the best outcome.
