Chronic calcific pancreatitis, insufficiency

Chronic Pancreatitis, for 15 years. I have no Splenic vein anymore, cirrhosis, have lost 100 pounds and an on a GJ feeding tube. Was supposed to have my pancreas removed but cannot due to portal hypertension, other conditions. Did anyone have this condition? I don't drink, smoke, use drugs. I'm just not getting better. Very scared about what can be done in my situation.

Dear TaraRae, I’m really sorry to read your story! It sounds like you have a lot to cope with!

I’ve had autoimmune chronic pancreatitis for 25 years now. My pancreas is pretty much defunct.

There is wealth of knowledge here from people with CP and EPI and diabetes so please ask and feel free to join in any of the discussions going!

Dee 🙂
