Had consultation with oncologist this morning.
He said that only chemotherapy that was to continue during the virus crisis was that what is needed to save life/ end of life treatment.
My chemotherapy was a clean up after cancer removal (hopefully)
Most of deaths re COVID -19 staying underlying conditions are on chemotherapy.
So it would be very dangerous to continue.
I have to consider myself as having finished treatment- normal timely reviews scans etc will start. I next have consultant review with oncologist in 4 months, don’t know about surgeon yet.
Still considered as on shielding
