Hi any one have cerebral Palsy? I am having real problems due to my high muscle tone.

Trying to look at drug free options at the moment as well as pregablin baclofen and co-codamal. I wondered if any one had a positive experience from acupuncture? Sometimes tens works sometimes it aggravates things.

Can't comment on Cerebral Palsy but my husband has it every 6 weeks to relieve muscle spasms. It certianly helps himm although he wasn't convimced at first. It helps his upper back and strong prescription drugs help the rest of him.

Try it if you can and keep an open mind.

Good Luck

Hello

Personally I have not had acupuncture, all I know is that Body Clock sell a acupuncture electric pen heard that some people like them. You may need a little training, good luck

Hello I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and have found the best acupuncturist. She is fantastic the only problem is cost it is £30 a visit and I have been going weekly for nearly 2 years, in this time she has really made a difference to my life. Luckily I get some DLA so I can afford it, I would rather go without on other things, it helps my muscle spasms and pain, I really notice if I dont see her. The thing with acupuncture is it is no instant more of a gradual thing in my case so you have to give it time. I would say at least 6 weeks. Try and find someone who you can talk to and understand as like my condition yours is complicated. Good Luck Anything is worth a try.
