I have a lot of pain from my coccyx could it be that?

I think it depends whether the pain is constant.

it could be an idea to ask the gp - my back ache turned out to be appendicitis!

I have been on amitriptyline at 75 mg at night with other medications for pain since 1989

This tablet is a mood changing medication that is used in deppresives. the fact that it is used now for the relief pain and tingling caused by nerve damage from trapped nerves tendons etc.

Normally this med is taken at night before bed as it can act as a sleeping medication I have found it very good. Keep well
