Tiredness

The fact you have recently been diagnosed with diabetes is actually quite significant in relation to your tiredness. When blood sugars are not stable but especially high this can lead to tiredness. It also won’t help if like many uncontrolled diabetics you are up in the night going for a wee! What is gp doing in relation to your diabetes? Advising diet control or straight on to medication? Gp should also refer you to newly diagnosed diabetic course if there is one in your area. Gp should also refer you for yearly vision tests at the hospital. I appreciate you are already having vision checked but it’s important the specific diabetic vision test is done yearly.
In relation to your vision. Who is overall monitoring it? Somebody should to advising you in relation to your cataracts and again monitoring them. Certainly the consultant you are under for WMD ( pleased the injections are helping) should be able to advise and should be told about your recent diagnosis.
