have done 6 weekly injections now and instead of feeling better many mornings pain, all joints and muscles worse, is this normal?

Don't forget that methotrexate takes around 12 weeks to start to work. So it could be a reaction to it, but it could also be a flare of your condition. Best to discuss it with your doctor.

Like others have said, do check with your doctor. I had this at week 6. My understanding from rheumatology nurse, it's usually at this point methotrexate starts to build up but also the immune system 'fights' back. It took up to week 15 before I felt any relief. Hope that helps but do see your medical practitioner as it could be a number of things causing your pain.

Sorry to hear you're having side effects. I have only had the pill form but I did have enough side effects that I had to be taken off. Mine were mostly digestive issues. Please seek you doctor's advise and hope you feel better soon!
