Kidney stone in penile shaft

Hi, so they found a 3mm kidney stone in my penile shaft. They tried to remove it but it wouldn’t come out. They used a catheter to push it back into my bladder in the hope that it would come out naturally later. This was yesterday. Ever since then, my penis is sore and its stings when I pee. Is this normal?
