Hello there, your post is surprising to be on morphine at such a young age and still be in pain a year later. There are many things that can cause pain in the lower stomach in women of child bearing age as they say. One that often causes pain is endemetriosis, another is ovarian cancer which I presume tests have been done for. Bladder weakness from births, muscle weakness from births, bowel problems , womb scarring the list is quite long including lower back or pelvic pain in the muscles. Most of these are not treated with morphine however, so I guess your pain is severe. What sort of consultant are you seeing. ? you need a diagnosis of the cause of the pain before proper treatment can be given. But be prepared for pain treatment only as that seems to be the general trend these days. Or labelled as anxiety. I hope you do get some help or a definate diagnosis that can be treated. Best Wishes and good luckx

Hi Overit4now ,it's very easy to over use morphine also its an addictive medication, please be very careful with it. If you find your taking stronger doses, it may not mean your pains increased, it could be that your body is used to the amount your taking ,this happened to me. Eventually I was weaned off and put on different medications. The pain your experiencing could be 1 of 100s of things ...my daughter went through similar for years untill she was finally diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, she now avoids certain foods and takes medication ,her violent pains have all but stopped now .You don't mention any diagnosis that's been suggested or what tests you've had?? Most woman your age with children will likely experience lower abdomen pain through many causes...definitely see your GP again ,do some self research, ask close family members if they've had similar maybe even talk to your midwife as there's several things associated with childbirth that could cause continual pain. Good luck ,hope some of this may just be useful .

katieoxo60 below asking very valid questions, if your tests comes as all in the negatives, you should consider your diet as remember morphine being an opioid ( are you in the patch or liquid morphine ), however depending on the dosage, morphine always make one constipated, from there one have tummy aches, cramps, pains.

I am on liquid morphine 2 to 4 hours per day, but I use suppositories and drink a prescription drug call laxido ( the orange sachet ) as I am diabetic also. Its the only thing that controls the incontinence, if not I have severe tummy aches, pains and cramps

Hope you get sorted soon
