Full body inflammation

Hello, can anyone relate or have any advice on this. Woe up the other day with everything in my body going nuts, and I have no idea why. I have a prolapsed disc in my thoracic spine and not long after I got the injury to cause it, I had severe pain under my right ribs. This lasted a few years but it did die down. Well the other day, I woke up screaming with the VP pain under my ribs, and where the injury part was and around it and every bit of my body that has a problem even though it hasn’t been as severe was screaming out. Now my full body is roasting hot and I can only think it’s the flare up. Has anyone else had this or even any advice. Cool packs are in constant use. Thank you all, stay as well as you can be.

Hi Jinny I suffer with same full body flair ups once a week, for me it lasts 1-2 days, it seems any thing that a ‘normal’ person would have and shrug of as a local pain, gives me a full attack, the only thing that works for me is so solhpdine soulable max which always works, I have had much stronger drugs prescribed gabapentine and all the usual prescriptions pain relief as I have 10 damaged discs.

It’s taken me many years to manage the pain but I now do and from a Purley personal point of view and I can’t speak for you getting off all the drugs and keeping to minimal doses of codine has worked for me.

The pain is a part of my life and I have just learned to live with it and manage it.

Don’t lose heart you just have to accept your limitations, yes it shit and can overwhelm you but the brain is where it is won and lost for me, the experts have done nothing to help me in the last twenty years.
