For 11 days I've had the same very sharp pain in my left eye, eyebrow, head and ear. I'd describe it as a mixture of constant brain freeze, sniffing smelling salts too hard and something hot stabbing my ear!! It is so painful I cannot do daily tasks or work. No painkillers help.
I thought it was a migraine but my GP says it's not. I have no other symptoms. Her outcome was that I'm depressed and stressed. She couldn't be more wrong. I just don't know what to do next. Is it possible it's something more serious even though there are no other symptoms..

Could they neurological involving facial nerve. Consult a neurologist if obvious symptoms do not occur
It sounds like your Gp is very dismissive of something that could be serious. A scan or neurological appointment maybe needed. I know a lady with similar facial pains since the AZ vaccine, been ongoing since last year, so hopefully you didn't have that vaccine? Please push to get it sorted. Good luck.
Did the GP not mention the possibility of Trigeminal neuralgia?
Unfortunately there is medical misogyny built into the whole of the western medical system whereby if a women has a pain it is due to stress or some other intrinsic weakness, if a man has pain then there must be something wrong.
I have seen 2 different GPs both extremely dismissive. But I have read about Trigeminal neuralgia, it sounds very similar. I will have to go back and beg for another because the pain really is unbearable!
It is worth going back. I had a friend who was told by the GP it was a dental issue, the dentist said no, it was a GP issue. This went on for weeks until she told them she was finished being in the middle could they please speak to each other. Finally the GP agreed it wasn't dental, but said it was stressed and sent her for counselling. The counsellor wrote to the GP saying it wasn't stress, please treat this patient for her physical problems. Finally got a referral to neurology who said it was Trigeminal neuralgia and gave her appropriate medication. It shouldn't be like that though, so I hope you get a better deal from another GP appointment.
Suggest you look at 'complementary' therapy options. Cranial osteopath or Cranio-sacral therapy, or a good Bowen (+NST) practitioner. I am a recently retired one, and I've seen wonderful outcomes! The NHS is great for emergencies, but poor on longer terms. Best wishes TIMbowPSP
HiI'm so sorry you have been treated like this when you are in so much pain. It could be dental but like others have said go back to your GP. Have you got someone who can go with you. They seem to sit up and take more notice if you aren't on your own!! Very annoying and frustrating 🤬
