Duloxitine

Hi folks just a wee update. Been on duloxitine a few days now and its helping a little bit on my toes I dont have that stinging shock feeling just as bad but my tummy upset have any of you suffered this ? Any reply greatly appreciated

Yes I couldn't tolerate duloxetine, it gave me a stomach that felt like a cauldron of fire! Unfortunately the GPs treated me like I was just being difficult. I haven't found an antidepressant that I can tolerate except for mirtazapine and that gave me crazy weight gain.

I had the tummy 'fire' too. I've been on a lot of meds for chronic pain, fibromyalgia & anxiety & this was the worst. I couldn't eat because it burnt my stomach (I lost 12kg) & my head felt like concrete. My mind was in a total fog, & I felt as though this damn med was slowly killing me. My family & friends later said that they thought the same.I've since read both good & bad reviews. Meds effect people differently so hopefully you suffer minimal side effects. I'm on Durogesic patch (constant battle with doctors to stay on it) for pain & Endep for depression/anxiety.

Hopefully by now your reaction has settled & you are finding relief. Xx
