Does Burning Mouth ever go away on its own?

hi does anyone have oral pain known as Oral Dysethesia or burning mouth? Some 1.7% of the population have it, and it’s assumed to be a condition not an illness. There is no cure, and drugs like Amitriptyline are prescribed. If you have it I would like to know if it ever goes away on its own. Symptoms include throbbing in center of mouth without any dental anomaly found. in my case the throbbing is about 5 or 6 Hz.
