Not sure what you are looking to ask or post as you just have two medication names in the title and body of the message. Could you reply to let us know what you would like to post/ask?

I've had pregabalin & it blew me up like a balloon. (So began edema...) It burned my stomach & number my mind - but did nothing for the pain. Then came the Norspan patch which worked to some extent but nausea & laboured breathing knocked that on the head. Finally after suffering withdrawals & other ineffective meds I asked my GP for fentanyl. I've been on it for approx 2-1/2 years now & the reduction in pain is life-saving. However seeing that it is three times stronger than morphine it is a constant battle (with numerous specialists) to remain on it. It's exhausting! I see the end of prescription coming - maybe even within the next few months.

Maybe my meandering won't be of much use to you as I'm not sure what you're asking... But keep on fighting for the meds that you know help. Take care. RobbieT
