Low back muscle spasms lasting more than 10 days

I was diagnosed with degenerative ddd L4 - L5, S1.

But 11 days ago after doing some work at the garden got severe pain and muscle spasms. Still very difficult

Have you spoken to your GP? I might be due to that but so much in the pelvis is connected, it could be something else.

I too have the same diagnosis. Friday sat at my office chair and a spasm out of nowhere. Currently in bed can’t move. Absolutely no improvement. In fact it’s stiffer than ever. Looks like my big plans for my 50th in 9 days are gone. Does anything rice you pain relief at all?

I went to see chiropractor he helped me tremendously and after two weeks I am almost back to normal. Even after first appointment felt better, of course you will need to do stretching..I am in Toronto: Semi Rehabilitation Clinic

3 months on and here I am back in bed, can’t move. The pain is so intense just lying on my back. I can’t turn over at all, actually can’t even bend my knees up. I’m taking naproxen paracetamol amitryptaline and diazepam and it’s not touching it. I’m loosing the plot a bit with the pain, just can’t cope with it it’s so intense this time. What did you do when you were laid up? I’m only taking sips with my pills as I know I can’t move to get out of bed to go to the toilet.
