Hello there,

I am sorry to hear you're struggling with pain caused by bladder pain syndrome. I understand you've already tried taking medication to relieve this pain, but you may be interested in reading some information about other ways to manage bladder pain syndrome, for example, physiotherapy, and through your diet.

Please see the following links for some useful information:

It would probably be worth speaking to your GP about your condition as well, to discuss other medications you could try to help relieve the pain.

I hope this information was useful.

Hi Maisey04 ,

Thank you for clarifying. You say that you have tried everything - can I ask if you confirmed with your doctor if you have exhausted all options?

It is important for them to know that the pain medication you are currently using is not working anymore. Perhaps they can make suggestions on some other ways you could approach this, including a pain management programme.

There is evidence out there that even pain that responds poorly to medication can be improved with various pain management techniques - so make sure to ask about this the next time you visit your GP. I know it is the hardest thing right now to keep trying patiently, but there is still hope you come across something that really works for you!

Wishing you the best,

Thank you for your reply. My appointment was cancelled because of the virus so I am having to bear it for the moment as I know it’s dangerous to go to hospital I will update you when I’ve seen them . Thanks again
