You will probably have withdrawal symptoms if you stop abruptly These include somach cramps, sweating, muscle cramps, loss of appetite, etc. Try cutting 2pills aday out and stAy on that dose for a week and then cut2 more a day for a week and continue until you are off them. Consult your physician if you have any problems.

I have taken cannabis oil and cocodamal at the same time with the permission of my GP. See if the CBD oil makes any difference and if it does say drop just one tablet off every other day and keep like that for a period of time and then slowly reduce. Some people don't actually become addicted to a medication but others find withdrawal more difficult. I sometimes think we get so frightened of having the terrible pain come back again we are reluctant to try reducing the dose at all. You could ask your gp for help and perhaps have a cocodamal which has a slightly lower strength say 15/500mg which perhaps you could take at a period of the day when you are less active so you still have the drug in your system but at a lower dose. I was taking the full 8 a day but realised that when I had a bad flare up of pain I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia that I had nothing more to help me. I decided to slowly drop the amount of tablets I had when going through a better patch so I always had a top up when things were very painful. I have managed to get down to 4 on my better days quite easily which surprised me. Of course I do take the 8 when things are bad. Good luck with whatever you decide.x

Yes you will get withdrawals, I've found previously its better to buy over the counter 8/500 to ween off of the 30/500, once you're on the 8/500 you will be able to stop with no problems 🙂

Do not stop abruptly like I did. Within 24 hours I was sweating with severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. It took two weeks to recover. I have sciatica and on Amitriptyline. This also has dreadful withdrawal symptoms so am cutting down very gradually. Great documentary on BBC 2 called the opiod crisis Well worth watching.

Most likely not. I took that does for over 10 years and had no issues coming off it in December. The morphine and pregabalin were the big withdrawal issues
