Hello
I have suffered from lower back pain for most of my adult life. I suspect that this is in common with many, many people but just over 2 years ago I had another familiar episode but this time it did not diminish with the usual sodium diclofenac and Co-Codomol. The main painful and very frustrating symptom is chronic pain , almost exclusively, when sitting for more than 30 minutes. I can stand and walk miles with few problems (for which I am eternally grateful!) but as soon as I sit the knawing pain begins. This severely restricts travelling, visits to the cinema, restaurants and watching TV etc. I've had a variety of hospital treatments in addition to self help. These include : steroid injections into the facet and sacroiliac joints, denervation of the facet joints and a three vertebrae fusion with implementation. Despite all of this this life changing problem continues. I'm due to have botox injections at a local hospital this week.
Does anyone else have experience of this condition? and maybe has tried botox? Any advice gratefully received
