Pain I can’t bare
Hi my heart goes out to you l have very similar to you,lve herniated discs, causing chronic sciatica, and also have arthritis in cervical spine and lumbar spine so in chronic pain day and night.l haven't any solutions for you ,as lm as desperate for my pain to cease as you do but l do feel for you , it's a lonely place to be with invisible pain we get no sympathy, but if you broke a leg everyone would be feeling sorry for you.but that's life eh!l do hope you heal quickly for every day feels so long when your suffering l look forward to sleep each night just to escape it for a while.so take care your not alone.
So sorry for your pain but have you tried alternative medicines like pot ? It helps you relax as well as different muscle relaxers. A good muscle relaxers is zanaflex and in combination with that use your percocet . Try not to use to many over the counter pain relievers they will kill your stomach .. you just have to keep trying different medicine to find your own fit for you . Lyrica is a good nerve medicine in combination with the both above . I hope this helps you . I feel your pain . I've been in pain every day for 10 years you just have to keep trying different medicines ...good luck I'm still trying but have gotten some relief with lyrica ,oxycodone ,zanaflex and lidocaine patches. Good luck and feel better !
I've had 2 herniated discs over the years with sever sciatica . Could barely walk. I just requested a scan off my doctor after I already tried physio and all that. Physio didn't work btw I doubt it will for a herniated disc.
Hospital gave me the scan couple months then I went for a consultation. I spoke with the surgeon and they were happy to operate. Had the op twice now and both times came out like a new person. I can walk again and finally live my life normally.
I don't like taking painkillers all the time and medicines so I went down the surgery route. Best thing I ever done.
If your doctor refuses the scan just say you can't cope . Play the game a bit you are entitled to it .
I had a microdiscectomy on both discs . Healing process took about 2 months after surgery . But back feels great now . No leg pain or anything . Good luck I hope you can get it sorted .
