Need opinions on pain in left back rib area?

I have been having constant pain in rib area in my back on my left side. It is below bra line. I am wondering if it could be from spine or if it is something else. I can't tell if it is a muscle, bone, or something inside. Anyone have an idea?

Make sure with your doctor it is not the kidneys or other internal organs. Most likely could be muscle related, do you do any movements over and over....could be the computer mouse where you strain one arm over and over ( happened to me) and i lowered said mouse. Could be your sofa u sit in to watch tv is too soft. After u rule out all internal possibilities with your Dr (blood check too) most likely muscle related.

Best to che k with your doctor as there are multiple reasons that area could be hurting. Most likely muscle strain which will resolve with time ut check with your GP. Can you self refer to physio in your area ? If OT get the GP to refer you.

I have pain in that area and have deteriorated spine. Physical therapy might help. One who is hands on

I have deterioration also and three vertebra compression fractures. So it could be that. I dislike physical therapy because I have to drive so far it takes half my day and I don't get to work, but I think I should do it anyway. You are probably right. In past, they didn't want to work with me because of condition of spine. I also have constant fatigue which makes it hard to do many things, like go to a pool, etc. Thank you Dee and Flutter.
