Looked at some of the replies. Gather you have Methotrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Had a look at side effects and did not find anything relating to weak fingers.
Do not know how bad Rheumatoid Arthritis is. So anything I say requires investigation by yourself.
Your condition involves muscles which are over contracted. Muscles are strongest at their longest length. The more contracted a muscle is the weaker it gets. So what you need to do is to get the muscles lengthened. No drug can do this. They must be manually stretched.
You may be trying to hold a pen and use it incorrectly. You are trying to write using finger muscles. These muscles are not really designed to do this. You write with the stronger shoulder muscles and use the finger muscles to slightly manoeuvre the pen. This will require you to unlearn your previous way of writing and write in a new way.
I do not know how badly misshapen your hand is. I can only relate to my own hand.
I know from personnel experience that if the muscles in the wrist is clamping on the tendon sheaths then the fingers will become weak. So the muscles in the wrist need to lengthened out.
What I mentioned above is massage therapist and sports therapist area.
You need to learn new skills for better quality of life. Alexander Technique could be helpful for this. Alexander Technique cannot lengthen out muscles which are over contracted. It can help reduce you tendency to over contract muscles. Worth looking at:
