My boyfriend suffers from costochondritis, and has done for about two years now. GPs and emergency doctors all seem to shrug him off, does anybody have any experience and/or advice of treating or living with the condition?

With GPS now you need to really put your foot down and make them send him to a specialist. It took me 2 years for my go to refer to the right people, is he under a pain team!

Costochondritus is a difficult one ask most Dr's they'll tell you it will clear in 3 to 6 months. I've had it coming up to 4 years. Heat pack can take the edge of. When mines really severe it causes spasms nothing helps that except relaxants like diazepam. As its been so long is he sure its costochondritus ?
