Burning feet in bed?

Does anyone else have burning 🔥🔥🔥 feet in bed at night ? and does anyone know of a cure ? I have to have them outside the bed to get sleep 🦶🦶.

I use a thin pillow-sized gel pad (from Amazon) which I cool in the fridge (NOT the freezer). It sounds unpleasant but after the initial few seconds it's bliss.

It depends on what is causing it. Do you think it is neuropathic pain? If that is the case then there is something you GP could prescribe for that. My son had that and he started taking a very low dose of amitriptyline before bed and it worked a treat. But that isn't to say that that is what you have, you need to get it diagnosed by your GP.

Neuropathy does happen with cancer treatment. Neuropathy can also happen from vitamin deficiency. First step might be to rule out vitamin deficiency. Get B-complex injections and take a multivitamin. That's what a lot of people are doing. I not a doctor, i just read a lot.

I didn't realise that you were having treatment for lung cancer. Could it be that the burning feet are a side effect? In which case you should discuss this with your cancer doctors.

Many Thanks for that. I will certainly ask my Consultant. Especially as I have just had to have an MRI Brain Scan as well as a full body Pet-CT scan and will be meeting with her after Christmas.
