Taking ibuprofen for one month

My brother is 76 years.

My brother takes ibuprofen for about to reduce a pain due to tendinitis in the elbow. He is doing some exercise prescribed by a physiotherapist.

Only those exercise does not help.

Is it bad to take for about one month?

Hi, yes he can take it for a month but it should really be under medical supervision. Also perhaps a stronger prescribed NSAID might be better, e.g. Naproxen. Acupuncture helps

I've been taking aleve for a year now because of avn of both hips. they test my kidneys every few months. also, be sure he eats enough before taking it. I started having horrid stomach pain, the doctor told me this, and it went away.
