Funny you should my daughter made the same suggestion, if I listed the problems, sod it I will, recurring bouts IBS, low back pain under ribs comes and goes. Pain in hands, feet, hips, left should all of which comes and goes. Difficulty sleeping now on 25mg of Alprazolam at night has helped a lot. Have calcifying tendinitis in joint of one toe, shoulder and hip think may have it in right hand too. Had blood tests for rheumatoid arthritis clear. Chloestral is high which is very odd for me always been good. Still get tired very easily can't think straight, struggle to concentrate. Get sudden stabbing pains in joints and muscles never had before and they can be excruciating. My main problem is trying to explain all this to my doctor that it has all come on rapadily over last 2 years and that it comes and goes. All he has ended up saying is I have to accept I am getting old 63 now. But seriously I have never been one that could sit still ever. So what do I do and by the way I am in France.
next time you go to the doctor write down all the things that you want to say and all your symptoms, that way you wont forget. just because your 63 does not mean that you should be suffering pain and told you have to live it. You can do something about your high Cholesterol , you have calcifying tendinitis in some joints but you should not be left in excrutiating pain and shouldnt be getting very tired and and be unable to think straight without this being looked into. 63 is not old nowadays. Can you take your daughter with you the next time you go? Is there another doctor at the practise that you could see. I would be very unhappy if i was told I had to live with it without some advice about how best to do so at the very least. There is always something we can do to help ourself a little if we are told what. good luck dear it seems that you need some with this doctor. wishing you well keep in touch and let us know how your getting on. love grace xoxo

I will have whole list of other problems but I feel a right freak having so many issues. Did not help when I overheard the words oh there's always something wrong with you from 2 different family members last year. I just feel as though I am complaining about something or other all the time. But thanks anyway.

How about nipping in to a laboratory d'analysis, you will find quite a few in a large town in France. Ask for a full blood count and a B12 serum and a folate blood test. They will do it and you will have the results the next morning. It will cost about 35 euro but it will rule out or in vitamin B12 deficiency, which, from some of your symptoms it may be.
Best of luck
Hi if other causes have been ruled out it could be Chronic Pain Syndrome. In many ways it is like fibromyalgia. However symptoms develop after injury or arthritis flairs.
There's many different types of arthritis . I have psoriatic arthritis and I'm seronegative meaning all my bloods are completely normal nothing shows
