Hello, I have had severe muscle pain and weakness that started about 5 months ago., which also comes with numbness and tingling in certain parts of my body. It's hard for me to be on my feet for more than 10 minutes, and hard for me to do stuff around the house..
I got blood work that came back normal. Then saw a neurologist who had me get an MRI, which also came back normal (except mild swelling in my maxillary sinus which is unrelated to my symptoms). Then today had an EMG which also came back normal..
I am in shock, and I'm still in pain almost every day and have no answers. I'm frustrated, and have spent thousands and don't know what to do next. Someone please help

Maybe the neurologist will look at nerve damage and peripheral neuropathy and/or fibromyalgia? After an injury then later some medical trauma and a temporary Autoimmune condition, I seem to have been left with both of these conditions that have been diagnosed because nothing shows up on MRI scans, CT scans or in blood tests any more. I wondered if this might be similar to your position.
Certainly there are conditions that cause considerable pain but don’t show in most tests so please don’t feel ‘there is nothing wrong with you’. It just needs more examination. If you have nerve damage (neuropathy) or overactive nerves (fibromyalgia) there are medications that can help you, so please don’t despair.
Let the neurologists do their stuff and find out what’s wrong then prescribe something appropriate. Take care. X
