I too have spinal stenosis and peripheral neuropathy and was to have an operation but it was decided that I was too old, 82 years. But I wish I could have it as I have been told it really helps. Good luck.

I am 83, live in Florida, recently discovered I have arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis in left leg, slightly in right leg. Just got a shot in the hip, perhaps my 5th since January. Says it is good for 2-3 months. Had MRI and he told me I have stenosis in the lower spine and I don't know what that is. I wonder what I should NOT do. A lot of rest has given me more strength. I feel like I am on the mend. Once in a while when walking I feel dizzy. He told me to go back to PT but when I went back in February, I began to have terrible pain in the groin. MRI showed tendons were inflamed. Now he said to go back there, but I am afraid. He wrote a prescription for them. Have to figure that out. At home, I walk unaided but outside I use a walker, have a Rollator for around the house and in the outside walkway, and find a cane difficult - I trip over it sometimes. It is so good to get out again.

I was diagnosed with stenosis after a RMI scan. I was operated on two weeks later as I was told the symptoms would quickly lead to paralysis of my legs. I had cervical stenosis and the operation was a lamenectomy. Three years later my neck is still fragile and I have severe neuropathy in my hands but my legs and feet are fine. If you need surgery don't delay. Good luck

I have heard good reports from surgery but make sure you give yourself plenty of time to recover.Usually follow all instructions given by hospital until seen for follow up.Bones and tissues take time to heal after being cut and stitched up again.Get the balance right and you should be fine
