Yesterday I stood right on a branch from the bushes & a thorn went right through my foot, I only had thin shoes on, with a bit of force I pulled it out but this morning it’s red & swollen & I’m actually limping because it’s sore.
Not sure if there’s a bit stuck, can I check & remove this myself, what do u guys advise?

HI I agree with bananas. Ring up your GP and tell them what has happened and that you need to come in straightaway as you are worried about tetanus. If you haven't had a tetanus injection in the past 10 years then you need one now as garden injuries can cause it. Probably not but it's best to be on the safe side.
If ever I am not sure whether or not to see a doctor I ask my pharmacist whom I find very knowledgeable and helpful. x
First of all....OUCH! Secondly DO go and see your GP, I would telephone, the Surgery, and explain do mention that you Pulled IT Out yourself but are still suffering. Tell/remind them of your condition. I suspect, strongly in fact, that the thorn had some 'bugs', probably bacteria, on it. Since, without cutting your whole foot off, you can't flush it with TCP it has caused an infection. (I DON'T recommend cutting your foot off, to be honest!)
I'm sure that your Doctor will deal with/sort out the problem.
I am sending you my best wishes and, once again, OUCH!
