Tkr pain and/or fibromyalgia

Hello, just noticed your post. Are you querying the difference between the two. Do you have both, or didn’t you finish your post.

I have been told I have fibro. I have also had both knees replaced, and although at eight months I had very stiff knees, I didn’t think it was linked to fibro apart from the fact that I couldn’t exercise as much as I would have liked to do.

Just wondering if fibro (15 yrs) has anything to do with more severe pain after tkr. 8month post opt tkr and still in pain !

Could be, I’m three years and five years on from tkr’s, and still very stiff knees, though I wouldn’t go back to old arthritic knees. But I would like to walk more than I can do, excersice does help with rehab. But fibro makes anything worse.

Thanks for your reply. I’m so tired of all this....so complicated......doctors can’t seem to find out why my knee is still painful......I’ll write in detail later...seeing another doc next week !
