I would like to hear people's thoughts on whether or not cannabis smoke causes pulmonary damage to the lungs

Cannibis is a broncodialater initially so in the short term improves lung function. Long term effects are not as clear.

Any smoke is going to damage the lungs whether it comes from nicotine smoke or cannabis. In a joint it's the equivalent of 3/ cigarettes but even in a pipe smoke is still being taken I to the airways.

Eating is better.

Nicotine is not harmful to your lungs although it is the most addictive substance known.

It is the tar, warfarin, gunge and other stuff contained in the cigarettes which is harmful.

Hi Pat. I put that badly. What I meant was the smoke inhaled with tobacco if it's in cigarettes.

My point was that any sort of smoke damages lungs.

Yeah if it’s smoked on it’s own without tobacco it’s not that bad at all , however I’m not a doctor so your best bet would be to google this and read some studies that have been done x
