Right fellow pain sufferers action plans that time of year is nearly upon us !! Daily advertising showing perfect attractive healthy people doing various activities with great gusto. I used to make comparisons to myself feeling like I was a massive letdown because my pain stopped me in my tracks. This Morning Gok showed a Christmas day morning, afternoon and evening glamorous outfit ! Three!!! non of them PJs π±
Christmas is ONE day a posh Sunday dinner. For Christians a time of worship and giving thanks. For chronic pain sufferers a period of closed surgeries and harder than usual to plan prescriptions. Oh not forgetting crap cold weather slippy pathways and present buying ! The massive stress to be well for the BIG day not to let family down. What is the pressure for? We have limited choices so what if we have to adapt? Ask for help ? The people who know and understand our battles are the only ones that matter.
I hope your all having your best days and not worrying about things you cannot change. xxx

These people advertising on tv are Not real people. They are stage activated. It would be so much more interesting if they wore pyjams on or in my style of full length nighty and down to ankles full red fleece with scottie dogs on front. I feel this is the favoured clothing with maybe some Christmas style earrings and some boot style slippers. I've still to write my Christmas cards, yes I know time is getting on but I can't seem to be in that frame of mind. And I've still got another 5 days till 20th so no real rush. Might do a few on Sunday, but there's always the online ones I can send if I don't make the deadline. I might even do those first, so less pressure. Have you heard of them ? J L Cards. Not full name as not allowed to mention. I use them loads for Birthdays as well. Agree, the people that know and understand our battles are the only ones that matter.
