Suffering with Periferal Neuropathy in both my feet...burning...tingling ...hot.
Tried almost everything.Pills..chiropractors ..accupucture...transelectrical stimulation..exercise..stem cell injection in the bottom of my feet...magnetic resonance..lazer..vitamin b12...r - Alpha Lipoic acid etc.My doctors describe my neuropathy as "idiopathic "..translated ...they don't know where it comes from.I am not diabetic...I am 78 years old in good health..but my feet are "burning..burning"..especially at night..Tried GABApentin...very strong..tough side effects...woozy..tired etc...switched to Lyrica...better results...but a few side effects that made me uncomfortable..Read all the articles on PN.and the chat groups..how others are taking different supplements..Sometimes when the pain is really bad ...I want to cut off my legs at the ankle.
Anybody out there in Internet land have a cure...or a suggestion that I might try...
I can't believe that with all the advancements that have been made in medicine that some relief or a cure has not been developed for Periferal Neuropathy.

This conversation is a tried and tested method and I to have been round the houses looking for a "cure", it's pretty grim reading though, I sometimes feel the same regarding my feet and legs and the intense pains that are associated with PN, and I'm in my mid fifties and had this condition for 5+ years, I recently got my blood test results back saying that I had low B12, and this can cause symptoms associated with PN, so now been told to eat fresh green leafed vegetables, hey presto I've been reincarnated as a bloody bunny rabbit, joking apart I put a lidocaine patch on the back of my calf muscles at night time, which help a bit, and take a mirtrazapine tablet for sleep, but the symptoms I've got, have never got better and I find it very tiring, so I sleep whenever my body shuts down, but trying to find a cold place in the bed for the feet is a mission in itself, total sympathy with you, and as always this forum can generate a lot of tips and advice, good luck
