Just an update to my back pain waiting on pain team to put needles in my back to try and relieve the pain

I hope that you get relief from your pain. im having acupuncture on friday, I had it before and it helped my depression. I take it thats what your getting with the needles.all the best.

If Acupuncture needles, I do hope the pain team have had a minimum of 2 to 3 years training. Have you checked ? I've had 3 or 4 different types of Acupuncture over the years. One is known as dry needling where the needles go into the muscles in the area with the pain. This type helped the pain in my shoulders and upper back with about 8 sessions of treatment after a car rear shunt. You may find you sleep better on the first night after your Acupuncture.

Good luck I had it done a few years ago and it did work for me but it was always 50-50! due to the damage caused within the nerves. Is also to widespread for any injection but you have to try as not trying to ease the pain is worse. Good luck
