Neck/shoulder spasms

Hello everyone !!

I hope someone can help?? I have had this for 2-3weeks now but it is becoming a lot more painful..

Not really a pain but a tingling sensation that comes from base of skull than goes into shoulder, this I can handle but last week the spasms are following the tingling and shooting down front area of shoulder and back,. If like today spasms keep coming you can actually feel a lump on my chest area near shoulder. Pain killers do not work, and depends how the spasms are to if heat-cooling gels etc help.

I work within the health sector so the pharmacist has given me good pain/muscle medication yet they do not work.. I can have 2-3days with no tingling or spasms??

Should I worry??? I'm good at getting other people's problems sorted but when it comes to me it gets pushed to the back of my to-do list, I have only been to doctors once in 3 half years??

Appreciate any advise or thought's!!

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this
