After the surgery, should you at least take two weeks off work to recover. ☺

Definitely, you could injure yourself again if you don't take time to rest your knee x

Your surgeon will tell you how long you need to do the physio programme and then be OK for moving around with confidence. 2 weeks sounds reasonable.
