If you think it is really bad then go to a&e.. don't wait!!!
You're not really giving me much to go by. I don't know how long you're pain this lasted and I don't know how old you are. Have you been doing any kind of different activities? Does it feel more like your back or does it feel more like it's inside?
Because of the limited information, it could be a range of issues from a slipped (prolapsed) disc to Sciatica or nonspecific back pain like a sprain or strain. It could even be an issue with your mattress if you get the pain at night it might be a good idea to replace it.
Hope you get it sorted or any of this helps
Does your job have ergonomic designs for whatever you do for work?
Hi, my husband had same as you few month ago, he could not sleep or move or sit on the chair without any pain. Try voltarol cream on your back where you feel the pain and water bottle at night and take some paracetemol do all of these for a few day see how it goes while you are waiting for your gp app if you do not want to go to A&E.
