S1 pain.

Hi I have little or no cushion between my s1 vertebrae. Injections have not helped. I need my s1 fixed. I believe I have no cushion in that area my nurse. Surgeons right hand agreed my s1 is a mess. But surgery was a nightmare on my l4 l5 fusion. It hurts above and below that area. Help. Another surgery would be intricate and complicated. But I'm tired of being in pain every second of every day. I'm serious.

Can relate. It is really difficult when you can never escape your pain completely. Best I ever get is pain reduction. Now they want to take that away. I went through this once. Not again. I will die first.

Yes I understand. I'm doing procedure after procedure trying get relief. I think my s1 disc is damaged with little or no cushion. Yet I work everyday. Not sure how long I can keep this up. Ugh

No one knows but you how much pain and how hard it is. Constant pain takes a toll on you physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, occupationally, and many other tangible and intangible ways. I think it is harder when like me you are able-bodied in my case 52 years and then become disabled. I really didn't see lack of compassion, and even outright hate coming. I always empathized with disabled, when I was able-bodied. I don't understand outright hate for the less fortunate.
