pay attention to the way that you are getting out of bed and when the pain starts or becomes worse. then try to find a way to get out of bed with the least pain. it can be done. if we pay attention to our movements and be mindful of them. when you wake up dont just get out of bed immediately, take a few minutes to gently stretch your legs and feet and lower body as much as you can, as that will warm the muscles up before getting up and standing on your feet. all the best love grace oxoxo. ❤️

Thanksfor replying . The pain wakes me up it then takes about 20 minutes to get down stairs. I do all to relax muscle. Meds I'm on 30/500 solpadol, gabapentin 300mg, naproxen 500mg. I need to get out of bed for the pain once up can't go back to bed.

Once you have taken your meds does the pain ease at all?

the morning is the worst.because the body is relaxed. Can't do any exercise because of pain. Last time I had physio was 3 years ago had it worked after a steroid injection. This time round the pain is worse. Got physio appt soon. 😘

So does it ease at all after you take your morning meds?

If it does, or at least a little, can you stay put til they kick in?

My David takes some very powerful meds now and although he struggles to get to the toilet ( often uses a bottle instead) he does stay put til they start working.

Hi Bee06 I can do sympathise with your pain as a sciatica sufferer myself. From my own perspective there is nothing that helps and one had to ride it through But I do believe in healing and gave a friend who is a healer and she cured my attack of sciatica within 2/3 days if you are a believer see if you can find one and one who does not charge. My friend does not charge and has helped all her family and close friends. Hope this helps if not good luck

Thanks Jayney61. I know I'm not alone on this hellish pain but will let medical side do what they can for now . But I am getting to a stage I will try anything.
