Hi my name is Alex for a couple of days now i have been getting sharp pains in my head they are not that bad but i can still feel them i dont know if i should go to the doctor what do you think i should do?

Hi Alex.

Any pain that is new or unexplained should be checked out by a medical professional even if it is only to rule out anything sinister.

It has obviously caused you some concern for you to post a,question on the forum.We are not doctors on here and cannot give you medical advice to be relied upon We can just give our opinions or our own experiences.

These headaches can sometimes be down to stress,heavy oppressive weather,bad eyesight,or something else.

I would suggest if it is no better by monday morning get yourself an appt with your surgery,or if it gets worse then give your out of hours surgery a call.

Go to the doctor. I f nothing else it will reassure you. I was worried that I had a brain tumour but was told tumours rarely present with headaches only. Let me know how you get on.

Dear alex. Please follow the advice given ... make an appointment & go to your dr. If you are very anxious is there someone you can talk to & ask them to accompany you. Please go to your dr. you may find this will totally reassure you. All pain needs assessed if it lingers, even if it is not always that bad.
