Definitely the combination of heat, humidity and medications that cause you you overheat is not a good one.

I have finally relented and ordered a fan off Amazon, not a fan in sight at my dad's house. Living back is a bit like living in the stone age! At least there is Internet!

I have been feeling like this a lot lately in the early evening. Even though our fan is on, it feels as if it isn't and I am heating up from the inside out. It is so uncomfortable. I have only four medications, and they are here to help me, but in high humidity, they add to my discomfort. Thanks for being here. It's nice to know others feel the same for similar reasons.

I like your phrase sweat like a human reactor! Even better my one of a human fountain!

All the pain meds mean that I have no temperature control, feel like I am having a hot flush all the time.

Oh I agree with you there. It's just been awful, could hardly breathe Monday night, ended up running a cool bath and jumping in that :-) Got my fan on full throttle but it's just spitting out warm air.

3yrs ago I seemed to be feel hot,no temp, skin burning, night sweats ,on no meds, well past menopause, tremors, pins & needles in hands, tinnitus, sweating back of head especially if walking or any excercise breathless as well.Profound fatigue ended up low Vit b12 with genetic mutation MTHFR low Vit D ,& cortisol. Now hardly ever, now that I have serum b12 >1400,D & cortisol norm.Very few Drs will recognise these symptoms from vitamin deficiencies.

Aren't Our Body's Amazing . You would never think if you have a good diet you could get a problem like this .Glad your sorted .

Yes I have Diabetcs nurophthy ( can't spell) nerve damage & balance & problems with my memory. Hands & feet numbness &a pain pins & needles etc all I can do is try to ensure it doesn't get worse . Gets me down at times.

Valerie your legs swelling is not good usual kidney or heart trouble as fluid is going into tissues. You mentioned asthma, numbness pain .pins .& needles this can be nerve damage going on.Drs will say it is from diabetes but we weren't diabetic so it also may be low iron, folate & Vit b 12 level .This information took me 16drs to find then even when I went to neurologist she too didn't know what was causing my pain & numb feet. Our serum B 12 levels were in so called norm range. It wasn't till our holistic GP said if it's under 500 than there is something causing malabsorption of B12.If deficient in Vit b12 & it is not treated nerve pain & damage will continue like hearing, sight, memory loss, profound fatigue.inability to walk, incontinence .pain in back, neck, joints, shoulders ,hands.fast heart rate, breathless.Check b12awarenss.org for facts or "Diagnosing & Treating Vitamin B12 deficiency" online.I can't tell you what a difference b12 injections have made to our life now that we have no neuropathic pain.
