Pain

After going to the hospital Monday given oral morphine for pain. They did nothing told me I had slipped disc again the last time it happened was Christmas. Dr said it was old problem. Told to see pain clinic again. Now Thursday no different. I live on my own this is very difficult to keep going. Taking all meds but no joy. Tried everything . Need help.

Poor you, Caroline, sounds truly awful! I don't know what to suggest but if you are in SW London I am very willing to get any shopping or do what I can. Let me know. x

Thankyou for your reply. I live in west London leave a good friend and neighbor who helps me a lot. I managed to bring my pain appointment to next week. So until then I have to cope.

I do not know what you take for your slipped disc or the one you have moved. Sometimes a course of manipulation may help, although if possible you would be better to wait for the Pain Clinic.

Do you have a TENS, you could do a nerve block to reduce pain, the pain clinic should have shown you how to reduce pain in your spine over various time periods

What level? Be careful about surgery as it could make matters worse. Discs need lots of time to heal.
