After chasing the Surgeon, I now have the appointment date in March next month to have the procedure done, whilst I know that it will not stop the pain, I will give it a go and I will then begin the pain management proper after the op.

as we all know surgeons more around on roller skates so well done in catching one.

is this the procedure where they clean up scar tissue leaving better chance of furure epidurals working.

Thanks Paton, apparently they intend to inject the epidural directly Into my spine, thereby drinking in the epidural. Re software don't worry got the message fine. Completely understood what you meant. X

Hi Fedup,

I had this procedure in Dec - a month after SI Joint radio frequency Lesioning. It didn't work for me but it sounds like a really worthwhile procedure to try. I wish you well. Where are you having it done?
