When nothing else will do
I am a big fan of radio. It provides a window on the world.
Both distracting and addictive.
They have been running a series on the benefits of listening to music.
I am just throwing an idea your way.
Here catch.

I sometimes find listening to loud music lessens the tension of gruelling along carting the pain.
It has even been known to put a spring in the step. Boing.
sometimes put on headphones with powerful music to drown out the focus on pain. But I couldn't imagine getting through the night hours and hours without radio bbc 4X and the spoken words.
I listen to Radio 2 mostly in the wee hours.
I keep forgetting about 4extra. Over the years we have listened to hours of story tapes. I do tune into the afternoon plays sometimes on R4 .
So many interesting things float over the airways one way and another. To light ones fire.
One of the kids asked me the other day. Why did we have imagination,
It's rather a big question that.
